How to have eggs in breakfast in easy way?

easy eggs breakfast recipe

Egg is one of the most favorite breakfast of  everyone. It could be boiled egg, egg omelette or masala French toast. Generally we used to eat this basic dishes. I don't like to eat same kind of breakfast though I like eggs. We like to eat eggs. We have eggs twice in a week.  Because my family love egg and so now my twins also loved to eat boiled egg. Like mother like daughters😁

Why you should eat eggs ?

Eggs are very varstile. You can have it in dessert and in spicy dish too. Eggs contain protein, vitamins and minerals. Egg is also a good source of omega 3 and fatty acid plus antioxidants.

Eggs provide vitamin D and  level up cholorestol. The health benefits of eggs are here.

🥚Even a heart patient required to eat 2 eggs in a day. (My personal experience)

🥚Pregnant woman told to have egg in their diet. Specially boiled egg is very important in pregnancy.

🥚In Postpartum period diet also, you have to eat boiled egg. It is required source of protein and vitamin D. Doctor advised to have two boiled eggs daily specially in breakfast.

🥚Apart from this you should introduce egg to babies too. (with your doctor approval.)

Hence, Mr. Hubby compelled us to have eggs in our daily meal. He is fitness addicted and so he loved to eat eggs daily. You know "PROTEIN" kinda requirements😁 He would like to eat plain omelette and boiled egg. I hate to eat this on weekly basis. I am food lover and so always trying to eat variety as much as it is easy and tasty too. Did I mention we are eating 2 dozen of egg in a week - family of 5 😀( official) !

- Beat egg with pinch of salt and pepper.
-Heat a pan, add little bit of oil or butter and spread the beaten egg.
- Your plain omelette is ready in 5 minutes.

We rolled it in a paratha.
You can spread mayo and ketchup on Paratha. Simple and Yummy!

Basically it is Indian version of French Toast. You can say.

How to make?

Step 1 :
Beat egg, add turmeric, red chilli powder, pepper powder, salt , finely chopped coriander. Mix it till become fluffy.

# You can serve it with paratha.
# Spread this mixture on a bread. Cover it with other bread and toast this sandwich on a skillet with butter.

4. Sunny Side Up

It is somewhat like that only. I used to cook the yolk until it become thick.

- Break the egg directly on a pan.
- Do not touch that and do not try to spread.
- sprinkles salt and pepper

- Remove it from the stove.

My version of sunny side up is ready to eat.

Serving :

Have it with toast and tomato sauce. Some kind of English Breakfast. This is one of our favorite breakfast item.

Apart from this our regular and traditional breakfast dishes are. Egg burji. My mother made the best burji.  This can be eat with roti, bhkari or even with ghavan.

Twin Baby 15 Months Update

They are 15  months old now. It has been the happiest feeling when we look both of them.

They were so tiny when we bought them at home. We both cried a lot and for God sake they were born without any complications. Today we saw,  both are running in the whole house. Continue giggles and that word mum ma, Pappa,  melt my heart and bring tears in my eyes!

Incredible feeling!😍😍

It is twin update post.
March - one of my favourite month where air is not too cold and not too hot. It's start of spring here and I love that atmosphere. In the morning around 6 to 7 you can actually feel the breezy air. I would like to go for morning walk instead I am sitting in my balcony for 10 minutes and feel the breeze. Currently getting these 10 minutes is my luck 😀😀 Ha ha ha ! You can imagine a Mom Life ! 💜

It is first Holi of my twin, officially first because in last Holi they are 3 months old😀

Mr. Hubby brought Holi t-shirt, some holi colour and pichakari for Didi. She was very happy and played with her friends.

Trying to take pics of twins and so make them busy in screen.

Let's start

Both were weigh approximately 10 kg. Sometimes feel heavy and sometimes not. We didn't do any check-ups currently. But both are healthy.

Height :

Both have equal height. Around 2 ft.

Sleep :

Sleep pattern has changed little bit. Wake up window is about 4 hrs. And sleep nearby 2 to 3 hrs. In a day my twin took two sleep. First one is accurate after  4 to 5 hour nearby 11:30 to 12 pm and slept for 2.5 hour. Sometimes 3 hr if there is no disturbance from neighbours. 😐 Second nap around 6 pm but hardly sleep for 45 minutes only. I am struggling for this second nap.

Eat :

Almost eating everything which we eat. Both girls have breakfast, Lunch and dinner with 2 snacks.

Most interested in eating Mango, Banana, Chikoo, watermelon, boiled egg, puri, paratha, dosa, chilla, paneer, noodles and pasta too.

Do not like to eat anything sweet and Sour. The facial expression was too sweet while trying this sweet and Sour kind foods.

They dont like curd, Apple, plain rice, vermacili and bottle milk.😇

Feed :

Still breastfeed both of them. Trying weaning but I am not sure how long I Will take.😁

Mom guilt!

Screen Time:

Yes! I gave screen time for sure. To make my work easier, to keep my mind calm and to make things easy. With that I am looking for new ways to engage them.

Mornings when time is very less and work load is more I offer screen time. So that I am able to finish  90% of my work.

Talk :

S started to talk more. She called mumma, pappa, didi clearly. It gives earlier butterfly in my tummy. She learned so fast which surprise us.

Just opposite" I " is not yet talking. I Tried everything but she is only saying daaaa, maaaa, that it! Poor girl going to take long time to talk, I guess!

Active :

Too much active. S love to Play with puppy. She is so interested to touch it. Calling puppy by saying bhoo bhoo. Running everywhere when I took her down.

"I " also run with her. She love to hug her twin sister often. Both played very well without hurting each other.

Both love to read books. All my girls are books addict. They jump on books if you offer screen and book. They love to flip, open and saw the colourful pictures.

S is more interested in reading. She insist me to read her at least 1000 times. And I adore how quickly she learn everything. Mimicking me and tell me the same story. Love, Love this phase.

"I" not show that much interaction. See twins but totally different from each other. She love books too. Both having a fight on a book always.😐

Scribbling :

Yes, we are in scribbling phase. Specially S cring a lot when she saw Didi is studying and so she want to study too. Yeo! Everywhere scribbling, on bed, on closet. on wall too. Though i gave her notebooks, register even made an activity she scibble everywhere.

"I "also love to scribbling. But not in too much. She scibble on this pad only. Good girl.

This time we had Holi.

I took both of them in society park. And both of them saw this Holi. They want to touch that structure😇

We had homemade delicious food. Traditional puranpoli, katachi Amati, bhaji. To my surprise my both girls love puranpoli. 😋

And Gajar Halwa and bhajiya too.

How we celebrate ?

First I put color on her sister, daddy and then

Second daughter. " I"  like our traditional Festive food. She almost ate 1/4 puranpoli and 1/4 cup of Gajar Halwa.

Holi eneded up with strom and rain😀 In a sudden there was drastic change in atmosphere. We did not see Sun for two days.

6 Games To Increase Kids Vocabulary

Have you think about kids Vocabulary? Why small kids do not communicate in English ? Even they know how to talk but they don't use english for communication. Do you know why?

Disclaimer : This is specially for those kids who really have a struggle to Communicate in English.
My daughter is fluent in English.

Kids often anxious about their vocabulary. They do not have spontaneous word to have english communication. They afraid  if they unable to speak. And many more reason are there.

Specially if you are Maharashtrian or Hindi bhashi then the problem is "Word Bank". Kids do not have sufficient vocabulary so they are unable to get the proper words. Uneducated parents or parents from vernacular medium face such kinds of difficulties.

What are the reason for this?

1. Basically parents do not have own developed vocabulary. Even I am still facing this issue😁.

2. They tend to use mother tongue words most probably.

3. They themselves never talked in English at home with family members

4. Sometimes they unable to find the accurate word.

5. Sometimes they start to communicatie in English but because of poor vocabulary they failed.

What is the solution?

Well, you have to start early. Since baby is one month old. Use English words as much as possible. Specially action words. It sounds stupid for some parents but if you want your kids vocabulary should be broad then better to start early.

Do read aloud to babies. Baby love colours and so use picture books. This way you have a chance to develop your own vocabulary too.😉

3. Books and books are the most important at this stage.

4. Use words books, action words books, verb books, fruits, vegetables, alphabets, professional, relations, neighborhoods books etc. All these kinds of books have a word. It is most useful for baby, toddlers and parents too.

So this is for babies. Now we can check what can we do to small kids who are going to playgroup, kindergarten.

If I ask, are you playing with your kids?

The answer is - YES!

But it get irritate when we are tired and kids want to play with us. Then, What do you do ?

Well, my answer, we played. 😐 Yes, still we play. Sometimes me, sometime hubby, but we played. It may be for 10 to 15 minutes but we played.

Why?

Because playing always rejuvenating kids. It assured them parents love them and like to play with them. This is the best way where you can teach your kids anything which you wants.

As per psychology the game is the most important part of kids development. We parents should always encourage our kids to have open ended play. It should include, functional Play, symbolic play, constructive play and more brain games.

 How to play ?

Whenever your kids want to play with you said,

Yes!

Trust me it will take only 10 minutes to fulfill our kids emotional bucket. The joy that parents are ready to play with them is the most important things for them. No matter how short period of time you will play.

I am sharing how we used to play with my daughter when she was small. Even today also we play the same things but for language subject or EVS subjects.  I try to upgrade the game as per her weak points.

The game which we played hardly for 10 to 15 minutes but it worked for both - kids and parents 😊

6 games to increase kids vocabulary.

1. Scavenger hunt :

Find things in bedrooms - particularly with some props. For example - find blue color things, find the things start with particular alphabets, find the things belongs to her toys like dollhouse, doll, kitchen set etc.

2. Antakshari

This is not with song, but the Word search.  It can be in English, Hindi or Marathi. Have to speak one word, the other person will find the word from the ending letter without spending too much time say within one second.

For example : Apple : egg : girl : lamp.
Can goes same with Hindi or Marathi
This one is good to build vocabulary.

3. Compound word :

Make the spelling of compound words. You say the first word and ask them the next word, like Sun - what is the next word- Flower. So the word Sunflower.

This can be played orally which is more fun. Other way to play for toddler is DIY card and timer. You can make diy card of first word on paper second word on another paper and ask them to join. Make sure you draw picture first. If your kid is in reading phase then use words. Let them think, let them use their brain.

4. Pretend play :

Like Doll house, supermarket, school, etc. Kids need lot of practice with English grammer. Playing is the best way where they can have real communication. Do play with them and communicate in English only. Use small sentences so they will also answer in English only. Like if you are playing Market, then ask the price -

What is the cost of apples? How much for a milk ?

4. Name, Place, Things, Fruits, Colours

How many of you remember this game? When I was kid we played it a lot. Specially in school holidays we Played as a whole family.

This game require minimum 2 and maximum 5 player. It start with particular alphabet and player have to write the words in each column with the same alphabet.

For example : P : Name : Prakash,
Place : paris, Things: Pencil, Fruit : pear, colour : pink and on.

You can add up as many columns as you want. This is the best game to practice spelling, common and proper noun too.

5. Dum sharaz :

It sound simple but yes your little one will love it. Make action of any word like running, singing, writing ,cup, horse, door etc. Do not speak and ask to identify the words. Try to spell also. Use a blackboard and do write spelling. The fun way through which they learn to spell.

6. Fidget :

I used this for variety of things. As in picture it shows .  I added up one colour to one side so that two players can play. The colour side landed up on any of the word like planets, then kids have to tell about planet name. For elder kids you can ask to tell anything they know about the planets. And what they wanted to know.

This game is good for improving communication in younger kids. You can ask them to talk about that particular word in 5 to 6 sentence. It will helps to develop communication skills too.

These are the games which helps me and my little one to increase vocabulary. Vacation has started so Play as much as you can with your little one.

Hope you like this post. Is it helpful? Which indoor games you played with your kiddo?

Contribution To The Society

Life is not about what you get but it is about what you give. You have to give out to the society - in any form. It is a contribution to the society.

Contribution to the society

Contribution means giving back to the society. We live in the society where everyone has a need of something. Not every single person is blessed to have everything in his life. The contribution means the act of giving, sharing, donating, helping, counseling or mentoring at free of cost.

Why we should contribute?

We live in a community. And it is our duty to help our community in the various way whenever it is possible. It is our responsibility to serve our community without intentions of any monetary benefits.

How our contribution help to our society?

Our little help will change their present situation. It will encourage them. By helping our community we can become a good person. This is the way we came to know how we are as a person and can fit into this society or not?

Though we have a job and we pay our tax on time besides that we should positively contribute to the society irrespective of any disaster. Means you don't need to contribute only when there is flood, tusanmi or hurricane. Apart from that in your day to day life look out for those people who need your help. We can able to fulfill at least their basic need.

Okay.

Yes, I really believe in helping the needy one. We means me and Mr. Hubby try to help as much as possible to them whoever ask help. We think this is the way we can be a good human being and contribute a little to the society.

The 6 way I contribute to our society. :

I am sharing my experience. Generally we do not share our contribution. It is always on silent mode. But I want to document these small things on my blog post as a memory. It will help to upgrade our contribution in coming year. 😊

1. Give free tuition :

I believe in India Education and Hospitals should be free of cost. But that is the place where more money bluff happened. I gave free tuition since I started from my college day. I still remember I used to teach to mason's small kids free of cost. We had construction works near my colony and so these people live with the families. I saw many small kids playing in a sand. Then I went to play with them and start basic teaching without cost.

2. Purchasing things without bargain:

I do this kind of purchase specially in fair. This value is transfer from my Hubby. He believe they came to set up their shop in fair in order to earn money. They are so poor and why do you need to bargain. Earlier I used to tease him but after some time I convinced and apply the same rule.

3. Giving food to street kids :

We saw many kids on railway station or on street. They beg for money. Instead of that we used to give them chocolates, cakes, sweets, fruit whatever food present in nearby area. It gives the immense pleasure.

4. Donate Clothes :

I am huge declutter fan. In every six months I am decluttering clothes. Earlier I used to give it to some Orphanage people, who used to come at door step to collect clothes.

I gave clothes to our housekeeping men's and womens. Many times I have been told why you giving them?

But I know and I saw most of the time these clothes are used by them only. No matter if they sold or getting any benefits I will be the happy person.

5. Donate kids toys, books, stationary, shoes :

As a mom we all have piles of the above mentioned things. Since my daughter born we had a huge bag of stationary, unused toys and books.  When she outgrow I generally kept one bag and toss everything which she don't use. Till date I am doing this. I used to donate clothes, shoes, toys to the poor kids who live in slum areas.

Mr. Hubby know this area and used to go there for such donation. When he went there a group of small kids gather around his bike and he felt so happy by donating such items.

6. Helping Teenage via counselling :

Me and Mr. Hubby gone through a lot of struggle for education and job. With blessing of Almighty we are happy what we have today in our life. GREATFUL for that always. So whenever any teenager ask us ," Kaki /Kaka, want to talk with you! We always happy to listen them and help them.

Topic could be anything, but yes we listen them. They feel so relax and happy when it works for them. When we were teenager we don't have such support. We hesiste to talk with our parents. Still many teenager unable to have open conversation with parents. So I am always up with them. If they ask then only. I love to help them, guide them and show them correct way.

Do you believe in contribution? If yes, then what are the ways ? Comment.

Disclaimer :  This topic was by blog chatter blog hop. but unable to published it within that time. It is in drafts so sharing it now.

Things I am Loving ( Gratitude List) #February Ediition #1

Happy Monday!

How many of you saw Venus on this Friday ? I didn't know it was Venus but after discussing with friends get to know. Voila, such a beautifil sight. And then I checked it on a Google.

After reading many of yours morning routines, mindful living and many tips finally I wanted to have a structure routine which helps me in my personal growth. But with small baby I am unable to set routine. Every day is new to me and new challenge always there. I decided to take a small step, change the mindset and accept this temporary life moment.

When we as a woman wearing so many hats of being daughter, wife, mother, sister it is difficult to keep that balance of happiness and stress. Everyone is surrounded by stress, the struggle is how you cope up. There are many ways to handle stress but it gives fruits only when you adopting it.

I love to take small steps one by one. Out of which  first one is "GRATITUDE "I am greatful to the universe for everything. I can cook, feed, read, write and play with my babies.

I am sharing 5 things I am loving lately for the entire February month. Because my goal is to do mindfully. And so trying for the full month. 😊

Writing :

Yes ! To keep my soul at right place. It helps me to have emotional balance. Thanks to the #blogchatter in which I participate #writeAPageDay.  I wrote every day and I can't believe I had many post in draft which I am going to publish. I write most of the post when I breastfeed them.

They sent me this beautiful diary for completing the challenge.

I wrote small poems too. Check out here and here .

Reading

Still I am struggling to read with offline books. I have started to read Harry Potter  from last 3 month, yet unable to have daily read.

But yes, I do read aloud to my babies. Currently Haathi Bhai, I Love You, Little Why, Bubble Series are our favorite books which we read. They love books too. I was surprised when my 8 months old learn how to open a book.

I read online specially blogs.

My favorite are :

Madhu Mam's blog for  recipes :

For different vide range of topic I like Harjeet Kaur blog

Not tried Kindle yet. But yes it is on my list.

Trying new recipe for my babies :

Blessed to have access to doctor's nutritionist on social media and hence trying new baby recipes. My intentions to make them eat the same food which we are eating.  If you want to know how ? Then read my post on breakfast ideas.

Intentional Play :

Playing with my babies without taking any vidoes. Yes, I was addicted to take video. But now I am playing intentionally with them. Took videos only for special achievement of their milestone. And for my page where I shared #babyplayideas

No phone till 12 pm:

After 11 :30 pm I have to check my phone due to my daughter school bus time. But strictly I do not touch my phone since morning after I got up from sleep. It was my goal from January and I am able to maintain till date. Success!

And able to cook more to feed my family. 😉

These are on my list always. Reading and daily writing was my struggle. But to my surprised I wrote more post in my postpartum period. Whereas I decided to document twin pregnancy but unable to do that.

At the beginning I keep these goal in my mind. I wanted to see how long I will do it. To be honest I started this at the end of January with on and off. But with constant effort I made it possible. 😊

This is my gratitude list which give me the feeling of content and productive. 😊

I am just a mom with intentions to live life happily. So that I can able to transfer the life values to my kids. I believe kids learn through observing and I am trying to be the best version of myself with continuous practice.

Do you have any monthly goal? How do you track it?

Thank you for stopping by!
