THE CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY

The Christmas Eve Party

The Christmas Eve Party
PS : Pixel

Riya is a happy girl. She always has a smile on her face and is easily mixed up with people. Christmas Eve is the most memorable day of her life. For the whole month she put the music of jingle bell (musical tone) as her caller tune for the mobile. She loves every small thing related to Christmas. Though she is not Christian but she is fascinating to all Christmas things since her childhood. She loves the jingle bells and the Christmas Tree. She had a collection of different sizes and textures of jingle bells. She always wanted to meet Santa Clause when she was little,

And,

She met her love, Soulmate "Neel" at one of the Christmas Eve Parties. She found herself lucky to have Neel in her life. Though it was for a short period of time, the memory of the duo keeps her happy forever. They had been separated within 6 months but every Christmas brought lots of happiness in her eyes with unforgettable memories.

She  remembered the way they spend days together. They are not like teenagers, they don't have time to have endless conversations on the phone or on text but yes they do share a special bond of love. And they felt they were perfect for each other. Soulmates 💞

All these memories bring tears to Riya's eyes. And the mobile bell rings. Jingle bells jingle bell jingle all the way ! (Musical bell).

She picked up the call and it was her friend inviting her for a Christmas Eve party at her college. The party with her college friends and she accepted the invitation with a hope that she might meet Neel.

It was a very short notice invitation but Riya managed to wear a comfy outfit with minimum make up. She is just a lipstick and a kajal girl but when she puts it all together she looks gorgeous. This was the compliment from Neel. And she remembered every time whenever she used to get ready for any occasion.

Is this love ?

Not being with your loved one but living with the memories?

She always wondered but never wanted to come out from that world.

The world of love, which does not exist in the real world, but in her imagination. She believed to stay there as much as she could because it made her happy and calm. She is not crying anymore to have him rather happy with the memories. Because for her it was the best day in her life where she was actually happy with Neel.

Christmas Eve evening has arrived. Riya changed almost three outfits and  finally decided to wear the white long maxi dress in which she looked elegant and classy with a minimum statement piece. She wore a black pearl bracelet and a black watch. And ready to rock the party.

Riya drove her scooty to the college, parked at the parking lot and entered the college. The Christmas Eve Party was on the terrace. She waited near the elevator. The elevator came and she got inside. Only one lady was there in sarri. She looked at her and smiled. She presses the top button. The elevator started and stopped at the 2nd floor. Neel was there. She stumbled and looked in his eyes. He also looked happy to see her and as he entered the elevator he came close to her. She closed her eyes and he kissed her forehead.

Riya was surprised. It was the same Neel who didn't want to hold even a hand in the public place and now in front of a stranger he kissed her forehead. They both looked at each other without uttering a single word. And the elevator reached the venue's.

Everyone was cheering with loud music and both got separated as they didn't know each other. Riya mixed with her friends and Neel mixed with his friends. They spend time separately in the same party without looking even at each other.

Is this love ? Riya wondered.

The Christmas Eve Party

The Christmas Eve Party had a variety of food, drinks including soft and hard drinks and music. Riya enjoyed her friends. She was very happy to saw Neel at Eve. Everyone was wishing Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and saying goodbye. Soon the party hall was vacant . Riya sat on the table alone with her drink. She lost in her thoughts. Neel came slowly and hugged her from behind. Riya smiled. She loved the warmth. Neel was looking at her drink. She stared at him and with a smile said, 'soft drink only, no alcohol!

Neel smiled. There was no one. The party hall is vacant. Riya realised it was too late. The mobile bell rang, the musical jingle bell - the call was from her dad. She took it and She said, Neel shall we leave?

There were tears in Neel's eyes. Beautiful sweet memories with these jingle bells came in front of his eyes. Riya and Neel's love story start with these jingle bells only.

Jingle bells jingle bell...!

Neel staring her without blinking her eyesight.

And,

He grabbed her and kissed her on the lips. Riya got goosebumps, she felt the same breath and warmth in his kiss. She kissed him back too. Riya wished him Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my love. He also wished her, Happy New Year dear!

And then they get separated.

In opposite directions.

As they were strangers.

Is this love ?

BLW RECIPE: VEGETABLE CHILLA 8 MONTH+

SATURDAY MOVIE DATE NIGHT AT HOME #102

Happy Friday!

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

 Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Watching a movie at home is now our favourite part. It not only rejuvenates but also gives the feeling of accomplishment of the necessary reset for the next week.

Not every week we watched a movie but yes trying to watch mostly. And yes, we are not watching only new movies. We tend to watch old movies also. I always make a watch list and according to my time.😁

Because I am Mom and Wife.  So priorities matter but at the same time I tried to entertain myself watching movies and series on Netflix or hotstar. I tried to watch a simple and halki fulki movie which did not give too much stress. I like to watch comedy, suspense, and family movies. A love story is not my kinda favourite.

This time we watch the Marathi Movie which I think should go for Oscar Nominations. I wanted to watch it for a very long time  but I didn't get any chance. Finally I watched it and wanted to store it on my blog as a review for you too.

Many of you may be watched or many of you may not know about this movie. So give a read and make sure to watch at least one time. I am hundred percent sure you will love it.

Movie Name  : Vaalvi

Language : Marathi

Type /Genre : Thrill Comedy

Stars : Swapnil Joshi, Anita Date, Shivani Surve and Subodh Bhave

My rating : * * * *

Storyline

Movie start with suicide attempt by  husband and wife by putting gun on their head. Whereas the wife is dead because her gun has bullets and the husband's gun is empty. And that is the gripping part of the entire movie.

Aniket (Swapnil Joshi) and his wife Avani (Anita Date) are a couple who decide to end their lives together. But this is the plan set up by Aniket's dentist girlfriend Devika (Shivani Surve). The murder is being executed by both Devika and Aniket and rehearsed many times so that it will look like as a perfect suicide without any proofs. However, the best laid plans go awry when they find someone playing with them. And then the real game begins.

How do they deal with this person ? Do they become successful in murder? Is Avani dead? Does their murder plan work out very well ?

Yeaaa, the 1 hr 45 minutes movie gets you hooked till the end.

Message of the Movie :

Vaalvi means termites. The term has been used to  convey the meaning of how everything can be slowly but steadily destroyed from within - it may be human relations or your house. Do shield yourself from this termite as soon as possible.

What I Like ?

I like the way the movie ends. That is the turning point of the movie. Suspense keeps you at the bar and you are eager to know what happened next? Every actor and actress played a brilliant role. The natural acting is the major attraction of this Film.

Final Word:

Anita Date is the brilliant actor. The way she showed herself as a psychic is awesome.

Swapnil has the best role in his entire life. I never saw him as a villain but yaa he is so natural and terrific. I love his character.

Subodh Bhave plays a very psychic Doctor but he actually looks like a  psychic. I always wonder if the psychologists are psychic then how can they treat the patients? 😜

Shivani is the best played character in the whole movie. The culprit who is assertive and pushes everything on these two people. The best villains female awards must go to her.

" Murleyla kalkarasobat tine baji marali "

Okay,

If you love suspense and thriller movies then this is for you.

40 + EASY RANGOLI DESIGN

Diwali is incomplete without Rangoli. As title suggests EASY RANGOLI DESIGN  so you will see the easiest and simple rangoli design in my today's post.

Rangoli is an art which is still practiced today by everyone. Rangoli is the most important part of our culture. Generally rangoli are drawn in front of the entryway of our home. It is believed to be prosperous to draw a rangoli during any celebration like festival, marriage, Pooja etc. It is the significance of clearing negativity at the entrance of your home. Specially in Diwali drawing a rangoli in front of office, shop, and home serve a religious and symbolic purpose - to welcome Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, as well as any visiting guests. Rangoli can have other meanings, too, including bringing good fortune and keeping evil at bay!

How Rangoli is made up of ?

Rangoli is a pattern made on the floor with white colour. Then the design is filled with colours. Most of the rangoli designs are consist of plants, flowers, leaves such as coconut, lotus, mango, and ashwath (peepal), animals such as cows, elephants, peacock, and birds like swans. There are geometrical designs as well. The whole rangoli looks beautiful when it is accompanied by flowers and diya. It is one the most delightful images we saw in front of every house in Diwali.

Now days rangoli can be drawn in many patterns. Geometric, flowers, free hand, mandala form, sanskar bharati, kolam, and many more types. Every state has its own design and rituals.

I still remember how I learnt to draw a rangoli from my mother. She used to draw simple but mostly free hand rangoli and I always spend the whole day practicing that. When I was in 8th standard I started to draw a big rangoli. I almost spent 2 to 3 hours drawing it. At that time there was no internet and YouTube. But we drew from the book. Still we can find the rangoli books in Diwali. And I took it, saw every rangoli and kept it back in the bookshelf 😁

Now I really don't get that much time. I  love to draw rangoli but as a toddler mom it is almost not possible for me. However I try to manage to draw a simple entryway rangoli.

Any one feeling like this ?

Are you searching for simple easy rangoli design and then getting lost in the world of social media? And then finally you forget to draw or demotivate?
