How are you ? April is started already and how life is going? Steady or with full speed? Mine is going with full speed. Mini vacation are over and school has started. Again we are busy with school, study little bit and toddlers play time. Healthy dinners are the most important part of our Indian houses. We Indian families have everyday dinner together because it is the time where we meet each other and we talk with each other.  This was the scene of our childhood lives. Many of you agreed with it.  But,  In my house dinner time is where we strictly off the screens whether it is big or small screens and talk over the meal.  Dinner is the special time where we all have meals with discussion and laughter so we did it mindfully.  A healthy dinner has always been my goal. Earlier there was a house help when my baby was small but now we don't have any help. So the goal is to cook food at home and have a meal with the family, which is sometimes very difficult. Happy Weekend …. It’s so chilled outside….almost …..12 degree, in the morning at 5 a.m. Wearing sweater, socks, track pant for whole days cause I am feeling that we are staying at Manali….oohhhhh……its so cold here. Saee having running nose and little bit of cough too, but still ready to give pose for a click….

My model..

Am I looking so thin or in shape ?

Winter is my favorite season. You will get a fresh variety of food and veggies in the market. This is the season where you can feed a variety of food to your kiddos which are fresh and juicy too.
Methi which is also known as Fenugreek is one of my favorite vegetable. They are rich in antioxidant, iron and good source of fiber. Though it is bitter in taste but have so many healthy benefits like, enhance breast milk production, reduce cholesterol, regulate blood sugar and control Diabetes, protect from cancer and help in digestion.

Today I am sharing a recipe of Methi Paratha, which is husband and toddler approved.  I love making various kind of paratha. No…no…no…not all paratha approved by Nitin….ha …this is one of his favorite dish, if it is served with curd raita. No matter saee is following to her dad too. She also love all paratha….its my luck whatever vegetable I want to serve her I make the paratha…and….she finish it all with tomato sauce or curd. Sigh....she loves curd so much……knock on the wood plzzz….. This is my trick to feed both of them the vegetables that they don’t like so much or avoid to eating. Many of you also doing the same thing na…..?

This is very simple recipe with step by step pictorial presentation.

Knead dough like chapatti by mixing all ingredients like flour, curd, chopped methi leaves, haldi powder, red chilli powder, ginger and garlic paste and salt.

And keep it aside with covered for at least 10 minute. Then make a lemon size ball and dip in the floor. Dust some floor on rolling pin and roll out round shape chapatti.

Heat a tawa and place the rolled chapatti on it and cook for a minute. When bubbles star appearing apply little oil and flip it on the other side, cook until got some crispy and golden color.
