HEALTHY DINNER FOR WEEK : MARCH 2024

Image
How are you ? April is started already and how life is going? Steady or with full speed? Mine is going with full speed. Mini vacation are over and school has started. Again we are busy with school, study little bit and toddlers play time. Healthy dinners are the most important part of our Indian houses. We Indian families have everyday dinner together because it is the time where we meet each other and we talk with each other.  This was the scene of our childhood lives. Many of you agreed with it.  But,  In my house dinner time is where we strictly off the screens whether it is big or small screens and talk over the meal.  Dinner is the special time where we all have meals with discussion and laughter so we did it mindfully.  A healthy dinner has always been my goal. Earlier there was a house help when my baby was small but now we don't have any help. So the goal is to cook food at home and have a meal with the family, which is sometimes very difficult. But with meal planning I ma

Lockdown kids fun activity # 2

Image
Hey all, As I promised to share new activity on alternate days, so here I  am with new exciting activity. I hope you all like our previous one with smilies and have a fun time with your little ones. those who do not know please check the link : http://memoryflies.blogspot.com/2020/04/kids-activity-during-quarantine.html I am giving one by one so that our child does not get bored. This one is pretty simple. Take out a paper, sketch pen and wax or crayon or whatever you have handy. This is a simple drawing. There is no rule that you have to draw this only. You can draw anything like a kite, Bunny, Elephant as per your kid's choice. Just ask the child to take the colour pencil or sketch pen. I will suggest having a sketch pen. Ask them to draw a pattern on each line with a different colour. After that ask them to fill the gaps with contrast colour. The final product is like this. Lovely? Some Do's: # Take the same pattern and sit with your child. #

Kids Activity During Quarantine

Image
Hi, all, I hope you all are safe inside your home and doing well during this quarantine. Our kids are precious ones because they listen to us without complaining, right.  I am telling my daughter that Corona is sitting at the entrance of our lift and hence we can not go out. she simply considers this and never demands to go out, the poor girl as she trusts her mumma. But we don't have an option. I wonder we can do this to the elder one who is still not sitting inside the house and roaming here and there without a mask. 😖 Anyway, that is not the topic of my post. There are lots of games and activities which are flooded everywhere. Are you done with that? I am doing this activity when my child gets bored with everything and finally, she wanted to do something new. I introduce this one at a time so that she can not get bored. You know Mumma, today's generation kids get bored very quickly and they want new things fast. Without realizing what is it, they tend to get b

Carrot Cheese Sandwich

As a mommy blogger, I supposed to post some kid's recipe too. Yep, that is what I always wanted to share with my mommy friend and wanted to learn from them too. Trying the recipe which prepares quickly and the most important approved by my little one.😑   After all, we mom always wanted to feed them “Ghar Ka Khana” as much as possible but in a rare case that our every food is appreciated by them. We all know kids are always a picky eater. The name suggests a simple sandwich recipe, and yes it is pretty simple having only 2 major ingredients and that is carrot and cheese. My daughter loves carrot and so I added that.   You can add as many vegetables along with the carrot. I don’t have at that time so I prepared it from scratch. These are two spices and salt I use for flavor. Pizza masala gives a taste of pizza which makes a sandwich finished in a jiffy.   Grate Amul cheese and carrot, add the above spices and mix well. I used brown bread but you can use an

Lock down- HOLIDAY

Bio- weapon, Janata curfew, Clapping at 5.00 pm. Finally, lockdown for 21 days, Hussshhhh, we are going through this for months but still not getting out from it. You know the reason why?  It is simply because some of the idiots are not following the simple orders and hence we are on the urge to finding a new case on daily😒 Yes, I know it is very difficult to be inside the home, Yes, it is very difficult to keep your little ones busy all the time, Yes, it is very difficult to prepare a new dish as per the demand of the family members, Yes, it is very difficult to just eat, net-surfing and sleep, Yes, it is very difficult to do cleaning and cooking continuously, Yes, it is!! Mother Nature challenged us, and why not we are the monster who thinks that we are powerful. But this is not the truth, She is the one who can still make us or destroy us. Finally, we are been locked and confronted. If you accept the situation and try to enjoy it, then

My sweet, sweet Saee, Tuesday, December 2012, at 12:30 pm. my gynac confirming my report on telephone with his pathology. When she blew her thump my eyes teared up & I started to cry. This is how you decide to come into our lives and our new journey started. After enjoying each trimester I wanted to bring you to this world on Independence day. But at 9 days overdue, the doctor said it was the time to welcome you! After a roller coaster from the night finally, you arrived on 14 th August 2013 at sharp 7:30 a.m.Your dad was silent and crying. I remember my excitement to see you and when I look into your eyes, it was you, my doll 😀but not the way I imagine. You are now 6 years old and still your papa and I wonder how we are so blessed! You are a loving and happy girl .   It is evident that when you got up from the sleep, you raise your little hands up and telling me to take in my arms. I still love to take you in my arms and spend some time by simply hugging you.

Every Child Is Unique: Picture Prompt#BlogALeague

Parenthood is a difficult roller coaster and we should enjoy it with our kids. Unit test is over and preparations are going on for the final exams? But still we are in the situation of comparing our child’s grade with his friends, right or wrong mummy? This is we 😅, today’s mummy, but un-intentionally we tend to get in comparison always. As soon as we wear the costume of mother our mind starts jumbling: Why my baby is still not crawling? Why my baby is still not gaining weight? Why my baby does not have teeth yet? Why my baby is not able to eat a full bowl of cereal? And once they grew up, the question changed like – he is not writing properly, why ? He is so slow in reading. He does not like math? Why he is not playing outdoor games? List will never end as a mother. 😀 I am still going through this and sure that every mother is doing the same. STOP COMPARISON Each child is born with his/her own intelligence and personality traits. As a paren
