Schooling - Education or Business

Hello there,

Recently I have joined the blogger’s group for 7 days challenge. This post is for you Darren- Discussion Starter.

This is especially for Indian Schooling System

Indian Education system is money oriented. Right from the birth of the child parents start to think about schooling. Many of the parents need to take loan from the bank even for the nursery admission. A parent wonders where the schooling system going and what output will get to child. My question for discussion is this money oriented school system worthy. Do we need to change it?

We also completed our education without investing such huge amount, do we failed. Everyone have his own career and successful life. Yes, I do believe it is we as a parents accepting this money oriented system from the Government that leads to many school act as bugsiness model. Schools are not more that provide education but yes are the one that earns only money. For example, Pre-k admission you need to invest approximately rupees 50,000 to 70,000/- is this needed….? What will the school provide to your child….

Air condition classroom
Smart Board
Good Canteen
Fancy shaped benches
Playground
Activity Area
Computer Lab
…….list will never end

And Education????

That you will not get from the school. Parents need to admit their kid at private tuitions for the education. Schools are providing only the syllabus but they failed to take care of , is child is able to understand what they taught in school, is every child is completing their class work or homework, is student is able to build up the self confidence….? Like these. Schools are not going to answer all this question, but considering the student as a earning source.

Not all schools are like these. There are few schools, which are very good, but parents are ignoring them. My kid is just 3 years old and we are about to start schooling next year. My mommy friends are discussing always on school matters. So I thought it will be the best topic for my post.

All mommies please suggest your opinion in the comment section below.

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy Friendship Day

Happy August,

My last post is in july, and the one is in August. Feeling sad due to disconnection with all of you. My laptop is not working and so many posts are ready but getting delay on publishing. Hope will try to maintain the consistency in publishing the new post with new topics.

Today is 7th August, first Sunday of August 2016, Friendship Day. I Love all this days like friendship day, mother’s day, Father’s Day, Valentine Day…..etc. These are the days where we actually live life with our dear one. We take out the precious time to enjoy with our family and friends.

I am the person who do not make a new friend very fast like my hubby, he have tonss of friends. I have a very few, but have a constant and firm bonding with them. Now due to blogging I am getting so many new friends, Thanks to all of you who read my blogs.

What a beautiful quotes of Socrates. I think I am falling in this category….hee heee….!!

Without wasting too much time let us start with the post. Anu this is for you dear…..!
On this special occasion, I would like to share with you a tiny tiny celebration of Pre-K kids. My Friend Anu, hosting a playgroup at his home and she is doing tremendous job. It is difficult to manage small toddlers below the age of 3. However, she has done masters in it, handles all these kiddos so patiently and lovingly. Besides playing, she also taught them a good manner, fostering a right attitude and developing their small brain. I believe whatever kids learn at an early age never forget throughout the life. Age of 2 to 5 is very important age for every child for developing the right attitude and basic manners. She had a friendship day celebration at her playgroup on Friday 4th August 2016. Let’s have a look at this.

She made this simple and beautiful friendship band for all this kiddos.

Wondering what’s gonna be there?

Wishing by hugging each other.

My Saee and her best friend Arnav.

Then she distributes chocolates to all of them.Sorry we do not have that photo.

This is the first occasion of her school and kids also new to all this. Therefore, you will not find any smiling faces of these kids. After completions of the party, they dance together.

Here is she…my best friend Anu

Be tuned for all celebrations of her playgroup.

Happy Friendship Day to all my readers.

Cheerss....!!!

A Little DIY around the House

Happy July,

My current mood is to decorate the house. I am always interested in décor items for our home and try to put in an innovative way, but yet not started. Hope this year I will check out my some inner decoration talent…!!! Oopsss…. I think I have…?

Today’s post is a little DIY (Do It Yourself around the House). This DIY is inspired by Pintrest. I am not able to get the original source. But yes the credit is to pintrest only. I am always on Pintrest and get inspired to do it yourself instead of spending a huge amount of money. This is small change which I need to make. It does really bring a huge difference to my living room, so want to share with you. This is my opinion; you guys please tell me how it is?

This is book shelf which has a glass door. I don’t like how it looked; actually it shows all my disorganized stuff inside the cabinet. Instead of spending a huge amount of money on changing the door I want to do a very easy, quick and budget friendly makeover.

Disorganised....have to do some proper organisation first.

The second most important thing is that Saee’s toys are stored in this book shelf.  This is the only space where I can store all the toys from where she can easily access it. Her friends came to play at our home. Due to glass door they were tempted to put down all the toys.  The whole house became a mess within a minute. So I think I have to organize the toys in such way so that no one can access the toys in the cupboard and play with minimum.

I was looking for a fabric but I did not found the matching one so I choose this gift wrap paper and stick it on the glass doors with the help of glue. And tadda… it turns awesome.

I also organized the toys and books inside the cabinet.

Look much better....hussshhh...!!

One more DIY I made with the wine bottle. I covered the neck of the bottle with some pink colour washy tape and it turns in simple flower vase. It gives an elegant look to my living room.

Before image without vase

After

The first compliment I received was that ..hey when you bought new TV ?
These are not real flowers, I do love to decorate with the real flowers but not able to do the same due to my small doll.

This is one of the flower pot…oops…yes, for me flower vase, which gave charming look to my kitchen! Actually I tried to decorate with the washy tape and then I tried to cover with the woolen thread, but It did not turned the way I want. It’s look as good as simple one.

Do suggest me some ideas if you have any to décor such bottles.

I love this corner because I spend the most of the time in the kitchen. I wanted to do some makeover of my favorite place. Frequently I changed the flowers.

This is just start of some DIY. Tune it on memory flies for more décor and DIY.

I love that you stop by!

Do you make any small DIY around your house which make a huge difference?

Which is your favorite place in your home ?

Learning while Playing

Happy Monday

At last Manson is here…..!!! Feeling so cool and refresh. Sudden a drastic change of environment gives fresh air which is so relaxing and energetic. I love rain because it gives me the peace of mind. Soft and smooth raining is like meditation for me. Really girlsss…if you are doing meditation just seat while raining and you will feel awesome!! The music of rain itself gives you soothing feeling which is perfect for meditation. Just try it once and let me know how u feels?

Today’s post is for preschoolers. Saee will be turning about 3 in two months and I am not at all thinking her to admit in a school. I do prefer her to enjoy the way she is enjoying now. I am sharing with you some of the play and learn activities which we both enjoyed a lot.

You know already how much Saee love activities and every time she wanted new. I always try to make a simple which she understand very well and love to do. Okk…without wasting too much time let’s get started:

This is her favorite fruit basket. She loves to cut the fruits on chopping board like mumma does. She also has chopping board and knife. So I thought to make the learning activities with this.

Letter recognition with fruit name

I wrote the capital letter on the plain sheet like W for watermelon, O for orange, S for strawberry etc. and ask her to recognize the fruit name.

Then we did some matching work. I cut out the fruit images and put the fruit in the other side. I asked her to match the picture with the real fruit. She loves to do this.

And her favorite is  cutting the fruit with the knife. She does have her knife but recently she find my nail filer as a knife, naughty girl..!

These are flash card which I used to play with her in different innovative ways so that she can learn new words. On backside of each card there are three to four word for each letter with picture. I think this is the best way to introduce the new word to her vocabulary.

I really enjoy the coloring with crayon like a small kid. Do you guys remember which one is your last painting or coloring? This is one of the flash card which I use for color the object.  Drawing and coloring is one of the daily activities for us. We both love it.

I brought this coloring book for her.

and I surprise that she colored it without asking my help.

This is one of the games which Saee and her papa played together. Nitin arrange these card in this way and asked her to recognize with the word. Like where is Hen? H for Hen?  Like this.

We do have crafting once in a 15 days with variety of small project. One of them is this Butterfly, I forget to color this. I drew butterfly and asked Saee to stick this color paper to the wings of butterfly. I cut out the color paper into small parts and then she herself put that paper with the help of glue. Then I put this craft paper on our fridge. Whenever we do such project I stick it on our fridge.

Mega Block

Every kid love this mega blocks. But when you find that toddlers losing some interest in mega block do this trick. I made the house, animals or any object and ask her to make a copy of that. She tried to make the same or else ask mumma to help her. This activity helps to develop fine motor skills, logical and problem solving.

I rotate this entire playing item in every week and added to the new one also. The toughest work is to present the same game with innovative way if she wants that mumma should play with her. If she is playing independently then I did not need to look her. But many times she wanted to play with mumma only.

I do love playing with her because time flew so fast. You never come to know how quickly your toddler grow as a big boy or girl and soon he or she will lost interest playing with you. I want to make this time precious which fasten the intimacy between mother and child.

I hope you like this post and get some idea. Do share with your ideas of playing with your kiddos.

Let’s chat

Do you spend such precious time with your child? How?

Which are the special activities you conduct with your toddler?

What Marriage Has Taught Us

Happy Monday,

It’s been a very long weekend or you can say a long gap for my blogging. Yes, I am little bit busy with my family so not able to blog.

Most of the people expect that married life is like a fairy tale especially when you got newly married. It is perfectly normal that every new groom or bride get excited and positive, but after sometimes, say years marriage doesn’t work as per the imagination or expectation and very soon you realize that whether our decision is wrong or right? Do we choose the right person? Is it worthwhile to carry our relationship? blah…blahh…blahh….!

Today is my Marriage Anniversary. Yess, we have completed six years together. We had a ride on a emotional roller coaster with ups and down, laughter and tear shed along the way.

Haaa…., yes and we do find our relationship is now mature enough and balanced too.

Every marriage is different but what matters to strengthen the relationship is always same to everyone. So moving on, without any further delay, these are few things which marriage has taught us.

Respect: Respect is one of the most important things that husband and wife both have to follow. It is equally necessary to both of them to respect each other. Respect the opinion when you do have fights or you may disagree on some topic. It is not at all necessary that both of you have to agree on same topic. A husband has different opinions than a wife. Its okk….Try to agree this and respect her or his view and don’t make her agree forcefully on the same view. Accept it and stop the conversation over there.

Money: Money is the very sensitive issue, do not fight on this. Because when you get married there will be no my money and your money, it’s our money. It doesn’t matter who earns how much whether a husband can earn less or wife can earn more, ultimately both of you earning for your house. So Respect that too and never ever fight on money because it will hurts your spouse’s feeling. Do communicate with each other while spending the money.

Love: It is one of the most important to love each other and top on that express your love to your spouse. Three words “ I LOVE YOU” make the huge difference. Whenever possible just say it to your spouse from the bottom of your heart. Love each other, hold hand and talk with each other. Go on dates and enjoy your time only with your spouse without any distraction like phone call, whats up, friends etc. Spend some precious time with each other.

Try to Accept:  We have some misconception about our spouse like about her or his behavior, understanding, the way he take care….etc. But when thing not happened as per our expectation we start to fight with each other. Whether its arrange marriage or Love marriage we know our spouse only from the outer side, and when we spend some years with him we came to know that our spouse is not like what she or he was. The real nature of our spouse is very different. Learn to accept that. Accept her or him the way he or she is. Like if the guy enjoys watching TV or Cricket Match, do let him watch. If a girl enjoys doing make up or shopping, do let her do. She is enjoying and happy with that.  When you start to accept the things so easily you will find the rest of the things will get normal so fast. Do not keep in mind that he or she was not like that before and now change drastically…..never mind….accept that. It will make your life much easy and happy.

Be Humble: It is one of the most important traits for successful married life. Do not make any arguments if you can solve the problem calmly. Things are become worse when you do have your pride or ego with you. Apologize or being the first one to say Sorry or admit that I was wrong, ever. This will not let you down to your spouse. This will help to ease the fights. After all it‘s your spouse, say sorry and just hug him or her, it will not take any cost but off course strengthen your relationship. Be humble always, do not lie and annoy to your spouse and do not bring your pride or ego in your relationship.

Communication: How many of you have communication with your spouse in your busy schedule life? Communication is the key to resolve problem. Do keep healthy communication with your spouse then only you came to know the view of your spouse, how he or she think or act, how will they behave etc. Have conversation on daily topic beside your household things, do talk on movie review, on cricket, on breaking TV news, etc. Do laugh together. Watch comedy show and talk on that. Do not make a fight instead of that do talk calmly with each other and try to figure out what’s going wrong and what is right. Many of the problems will get resolved.

There are many more, but then post will get too long and you will get bored. We are still learning as a parent’s of our baby doll.

Preettyy long and wiered topic na ? Actually I saw many of broken relationship  due to small stupid thing.  I hope my post will help that relationship and many couples.

Hope all of you too have a healthy and loving married life

This post is especially for my hubby, because I have learned a lot from him. This is the way to show the humble gratitude.

Love you hubby, Happy Marriage Anniversary……Be with me forever to cherish all beautiful moments of our life.

Mother's Day Weekend

How was your weekend, especially mother’s days?

I had a wonderful weekend. My birthday, then there was a birthday party of my cousin baby and off course on Sunday - Mothers day. Sorrry, I am little bit late to this post.

Saee at 12 O Clock, midnight wishing me my birthday and then she was saying it was her birthday.

On next day we hang out, had a dinner which was pure vegetarian, but was awesome. I ordered hotel’s special dish, it was Three in One veg, which include one sweet panner, spicy paneer and top on that mushroom, baby corn spinach masala!!! I just love it.

Saee like her noddles...,

We headed to my mom’s place because we have invitation of birthday party. Saee was really excited to go for birthday party. It was first birthday party of my cousin’s baby, so the event was a big.

Birthday boy, Yugant…

After party was finished he was free to play, especially not crying...!

Saee, ever ready for birthday.

I still remember when she was very young she used to cried a lot because of the burning candle on the cake and the birthday wish song….I used to hate it. Den I constantly took her to attain several birthday party.., Thank God! we are at Poddar ( it’s our society name) where we have a birthday party within every fifteen day. Now I am glad that Saee really enjoy the party, the candle blow, birthday song and food too, specially juice, her favourite.

It was on 6th May 2016. The cake was really yummy…..!!!

Two little sisters

On Saturday we saw a movie ‘’Sairat”. Nitin wanted to saw the first day first show, but tickets are not available. So we book the ticket 2 days before and finally we saw the movie (I think!) after 2 years.

I can not give any review cause I am very little person to review the Nagraj Movie. Nagraj Manjule is the Indian Film maker and Nation award winner of his films like “Pistulya”, “Fandry” and his latest movie is “Sairat” which was premiered at 66th Berlin International Film Festival . (Source: Wikipedia).

The movie is all about cricket, love story, friendship, Prestige issue and then comes to the reality of the life. The end of the movie make you silence!!!!

Please who still have not watch the movie, go and watch it.

And comes Mothers Day

I certainly do not believe that there should be one specific day to celebrate Mothers day.  Lots of effort took by a mother to up bring the child, sacrifice everything just for the baby’s future, and many more stuff which we do not know as a child. But guys certainly we have been always taken for granted our mother for everything. For me, yes, my mother is just like my pillow and my comfort zone. I am so glad that have two mothers, yup... one is my real mom, and one is my attya (father’s Sister) she is been mom of my father too, and that is the reason, she is granny, mom, attaya like everything for us. We can not imagine our life without her.

I am also a mom of my baby doll, and my sister also a new mom of her one month’s baby boy. We mom like my mom, attya, me and my sister, are at one place for this mother’s day. Hurry!! It was great day.

Only two words of gratitude is not enough for our mom’s effort, but needless to say this is the day on which we should say Thank You for being so wonderful and celebrate.

My birthday treat was pending and mother's day also there, so Nitin bought the cake and we cut the cake…off course..Saee is there to cut, she love to say that it was her birthday and asked everyone to sing birthday song for her.

This is my first mother's day which I celebrate with my mothers and my baby to. My weekend was a blast and memories are wonderful.

How was your weekend?

Have you celebrate the Mother’s Day with your mom? If Yes? Then How?

Please let me know in the comment section below.
