How to clean your house for Diwali

Diwali is the festival where we clean each and every corner of the house.  Cleaning is tidious job. But every one love to have clean and shiny room. It is  easier to have a cleaning but difficult task is to maintain.๐Ÿ˜€With twin baby it is quite difficult for me to clean each corner of my house but  I have lower down my standards of cleaning๐Ÿ˜œ

According to the current state of my life I am happy as much as I can do. So here are the tips which I generally follow. Not for only diwali but for a seasonal deep Cleaning.

Pic Source : Pixababy

Disclaimer : I am sharing my experience which might be helpful to you. This post is for them who are busy, have baby and do not able to clean up in one week.

Sharing some simple tips for stress free cleaning. And you will not going to ended up with any doctor visits๐Ÿ˜‘ (generally people fall sicks after cleaning).  I know, I am quite late for this post, but never mind !

Let's start the post.

1. Break the task into little chunks :

Instead of doing everything in one day try to divide the work in small chunks. This will not makes you tired and yes you will be not fall sick due to dust.

2. Start early at least 1 month before:

If you are doing this deep cleaning particularly for any festival then start early at least before 1 month.

3. 30 minutes rule :

Give 30 minutes only to clean up. This is my go to rule. Trust me it work best when you have little kids and your day is packed with so many to do list. While deep cleaning when you break the task in chunks then try to finish that small task in 30 minutes. 30 minutes is the minimum time. You may increase it but make sure you have to complete that particular task only. I ended up with other things if I do not allow myself to finish in 30 minutes.

4. Always clean your kitchen first:

Yes, kitchen is the most difficult to clean up. Oily, greesy kitchen takes a lot of time for clean up. It will motivate us when we have clean kitchen.

5. Give yourself a treat on completion of the particular room. Like an ice cream, cold coffee, cupcake or pizza anything which you like. ๐Ÿ˜œ Treat to banata hain na boss!

Now the question is how to start ?

Not to worry ! I am also a lazy person, so sharing the easiest way of cleaning which is working for me from last 5 years.

Assign one week per room and pick up the time as per your convince.

Plus have a habit to clean trash cans twice in a week.

Saturday : Yeeaa! You have clean home. Now it is time for Diwali shopping. Enjoy ๐Ÿ˜œ

You can do it as per your comfort level. Finish task in 2 days or in a week. This is the way where you can deep clean each corner of your house neatly without rush and stress.

HOLI 2020 (Celebration at Western Dance Studio)

Memories are built by the special moment which we spent together with a loved one. We don't remember the days but yes we always remember the person, the feelings with we enjoy every precious moment.  These small memories always bring smiles on our faces.๐Ÿ˜Š

We are blessed to have such friendship among us and despite we are in different age groups but have one thing is common in us AND that one is CRAZINESS.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž

It is always best to have crazy friends to do all utpatang๐Ÿ˜‰ things ! And I am blessed to have them. No matter how busy we are but when we called each other for such silly enjoyment we all gather together on a toe, right girls?

We don't need any reason for celebration. Whenever we get a chance we all are ready to mingle together.  Indeed, there is the weekend of two festivals one is “ Women’s Day" and the other one is "Holi” so how can we miss this chance.

We are charged ourselves to have the fun on our trail with our small kiddos.  Love to be small again with our kids and enjoyed some silly games too.

Holi is one of the best festival among all festivals which is celebrated throughout India united, without having any difference in caste, religion, and gender. From the small kids to the old adults, each one enjoys this festive with full of joy and colours. All of you already aware of how we are celebrating before - Holi in class, school, college, office, workplace, etc.

I hope this CORONA VIRUS allows our Indian to have this festival celebration.

We have the small one in our silly way.

We don't know whether our societies will have “HOLI CELEBRATION” or not but we don't want to waste this time and got ready with some color and lots of chocolates. Let me share some Holi celebration glimpse from our dance crew. The sad thing is our king was absent, but we enjoyed every bit of it.

Wishing all of you a very HAPPY and COLOURFUL HOLI.

Wishing all gorgeous women's there  " A HAPPY WOMEN's DAY"  in advance.

Stay Happy and cheerful always!

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti 2019

"VISHWABHUSHAN"
"THE FATHER OF THE MODERN INDIA",
"THE ARCHITECT OF THE CONSTITUTION"
"THE SYMBOLE OF KNOWLDEGE"
"ECONOMIST"
"VISHWRATNA"

 many more....!!!
After thinking 1000 of times finally I am ready to write a post on this topic. I am very tiny creature who could not able to write anything for him. Because of him, today I am an educated independent woman.

A HUMBLE GRATITUE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Image:thephonixpostindia.com

14th April is the Annual Festival which is celebrated by the people all over India and world. It marks "BIRTH ANNIVERSARY" of BHIMRAO AMBEDKAR.

Image:nilvadal358@blogspot.com

What should I write ? People from our community knows each and everything about him. If you really want to thankful to him....." DO FOLLOW HIS WORD FOR YOURSELF NOT TO SHOW OFF TO THE SOCIETY"

It is "HE", because of who "TODAY WE HAVE A SPACE IN THIS SOCIETY" DO NOT FORGET THIS, AND MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ACT SHOULD NOT DISRESPECT  HIM"

But the sad thing that "YES, TILL TODAY IN SOME PLACES UNTOUCHABILITY IS PRACTICE, STILL THE PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO ENTER IN A TEMPLE. THERE ARE SOME PLACES WHERE WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER. WE ARE STILL NOT GET HIGHER POST IN OFFICES.

I had an experience of this till in 2019. I hope that will change one day.

Anyway, I am herewith sharing with you how we celebrate this festival. Because there are many people who still do not know why and how this festival is celebrated. This is one of the biggest festival for us. There are various kind of celebration carried out on this day to give out the tribute to Dr. Ambedkar. I am sharing with you how celebration is carried out from 12.00 am of the previous day up to 10.00pm on next day.

Celebration began from 13th April @ 12.00 am. Ambedkar Jayanti procession carried out by his followers in each state, each region and each galli. (lane).

Procession preceded by dhol- tasha music, blue coloured flag, The truck is decorated with flowers , garland on the photo frames of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Songs were played in praise of Ambedkar. Every single followers with 'WHITE COLOURED OUTFIT"gathered at the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar for prayer meet.

The celebration of this festival at home is also a unique. Those who are not able to join the procession, can do the prayer at home at 12.00 a.m. sharp. We used to do from our childhood.

Next day, Rangoli is drawn in front of the door and we girls love to have mehandi.๐Ÿ˜Š

We always make a sweet dish. Some people also host the blue coloured flag on the gallery or window. Kheer with Puri is essential meal that every home have on this day.

There are lots of programmes are carried out in each society, banks, offices....almost everywhere.
You will got to see this kind of hoarding all over India.

Programme of the day

Medical camp on this day followed with Prayer Meet.

drawing competition for small kiddos.....

Also each society have some orchestra, dance and music competition too. It is been so long, the way we celebrated in our childhood, it is the same way we still celebrated and this will be continue to the next generation.

My appeal to everyone :
KEEP THE Gratitude AND RESPECT TO OUR FATHER "DR. BHIMRAO AMBEDKAR".
TRY TO TRANSFER THE SAME WITH OUR YOUNGER GENERATION, BUT DO NOT TRANSFER THE "HATE" TOWARDS OTHER RELIGION. DO TRY TO SPREAD ONLY "LOVE" WHATEVER IS THE SITUATION.

THEN ONLY WE WILL BE ABLE TO BRING PEACE IN THE SOCIETY.
FOLLOW BUDDHISIM...!!

Happy Holi

Happy Holi to all my readers.

the famous festival celebrated all over India in the month of March- symbolized the start of the spring, end of winter, fun-filled festival of colour, freedom to enjoy, victory of good over evil.

(image:aljazerra.com)

Do burn your all evil deeds and thoughts on this Holika Dahan and start your life with new blessing and mindful. That is what the Holika Dahan teaches us. The historical story suggests the same thing - victory of good over evil. Teach your kids to be kind with everyone which is strongly needed in these days. You know where is our kids generation is going towards? Today’s generation are only self centric and self oriented. Do try to give your kids a good thought and teach them how to be good with everyone.
(image:Google)

We always waiting for this festival to spray gulal and colour powder, to dance, to sing, to roam around in our colony, to throw colour filled balloon,  to mingle with coloured faces, to be a small child again, to forgive every evil things and everyone, to start happy fun filled relationship, aren’t  we?

(image :polesmag.com)

Rituals are differing state by state but celebrations are unique. The unique thing which we love is throwing colour powder and having red, pink, purple faces. We women make toil and roaming throughout the colony, applying colour on cheeks and greet by saying “HAPPY HOLI”…….right ๐Ÿ˜‰Who love this ? Comment down.
(image: boldsky.com)

Let’s come to the main highlight of the Holi and that is “SWEET DELICACY”, the mouth watering sweets prepared by each house. Yes or no Momssss….? Depending on each state, culture and rituals there are different types of delicacy prepared.  In Maharashtra it is celebrated by making Puranpoli and Katachi Amti on Holika Dahan and on coloured holi we used to have spicy Mutton ๐Ÿ˜‹.

(image: Google)

In UP sweet dishes like Malpuva prepared whereas in Rajstahn Gujiyas are made with khoya or coconut stuffing. Some prepared sweet shakkarpara and Bhang. Thandai, the most popular HOLI staple which is made by readymade mixes, with cold milk flavoring with almonds and spices, yum..yum…!! Have you taste it?
Thandai
Without puranpoli Holi celebration is incomplete. But still want to try out Holi Recipe.
I tried sweet Malpuva, though my daughter does not like sweet at all except shankarpali. Still I want to try this new recipe. It is my version, as I like to keep it simple. I am very lazy person and don’t like to try complicated recipe.

Firstly dissolve the jaggary with water and cooled down this mixture.

Choopped dry fruits.  Add freshly coconut piece too. I did not have at the time of making.
I used natural Maida, my first step towards organic.
Then slowly add 1 cup of maida, 1 tablspoon of semolina, little bit saunf, cardamom powder, mix well. Add milk according to the consistency and mix well. Make sure there are no lumps.
Fry them on low to medium heat in oil one by one.
It tastes amazing when dipped in sugar syrup with Rabadi in authentic way.  I love it without syrup because I am also not having sweet tooth.

I made very small shape to make it kid friendly. Always trying a new recipe so that I can able to feed my kid as much as possible. Yup….but the sad thing is she does not like because it is sweet and having chunky bites of dry fruits๐Ÿ˜”, I think  need to try some spicy version. Do you have any ideas?

How many of you mumma’s try out new recipe for your kids? Does that hit or flop?
