Raksha Bandhan

Hello there,

I am little bit late on posting of the event of Candy Kids Raksha Bandhan. Raksha Bandhan is an old ancient Indian festival that carries on this day. Sisters do aarti for brothers, put kumkum and rice grain on his forehead and tie rakhi on their brother’s wrist to pray for the safety, success and long life of the brothers. Brothers on their part vow to defend their sisters from all evils. It is deep bond between brother and sister. The most important thing is to prepare the Pooja thali with Rakhi, fistful rice grain, kumkum, diya and sweet.

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on 16th August 2016 as a Traditional Day in Candy Kids Playgroup hosting by Anu. She asked the girls to bring Rakhi and Chocolates to the boys. All kiddos look charming in traditional wearing. Without wasting, a time let us have all cuty cuty pics.

Saee's 3rd Birthday Party

As soon as rainy season start Saee started to ask for her birthday. Because she attended birthday party a lot and every time asked me, when will be my birthday? Therefore, we have to convince her that her birthday will be in rainy season that is in August. Yes, its 14th August 2013 our baby doll came in our world and fulfilled our life with full of joy and happiness. It is only Saee who actually gave a true meaning to our life as mommy and daddy. We both love you betaa so much….!!!

We had Saee's birthday party on 14th August 2016 at home. Party at home stresses me a lot. It was the whole process of cleaning the house, decorating the house for party and preparing dinner for guest. Thankfully, Nitin is there to help me a lot and insist me to be calm. We wanted to make this party simple. Saee did not like balloons and candles. Therefore, we decorate our house without them. This is the first birthday party where Saee did not cried at all.  It was kid friendly party where Saee and her friends enjoyed a lot.

We made a small decoration. We put the photographs of Saee by making small frame. I used colourful washi tape to make a frame. Use some colourful ribbons and Happy Birthday Garland.

We use alphabtes from Saee’s toy and write her name.

Here is the Birthday Girl.
First time wear Ghagra, Choli and Bangles. Looks so cute.

The big hit of the party was the game of draw a tail of an Elephant by covering your eyes. See the Elephant draw by me…hehehe…it was a baby elephant. We tie handkerchief on everyone’s eyes, then roll them three to four time and all children helps them where to draw a tail. See some pictures.

Then I wrote each one of name on that tail.

My Saee drew a tail

Saee’s favourite song “Zing Zing Zingat….” Everyone dance on that song. Sorry I do not have pic cause me and Nitin also dance together with these kids.

Here is the cake, her favorite Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake.

Mommy and her baby

We cut the cake without blowing the candles.

Had a simple snack like Cake, Jilebi, small Samosa, wafers and many Chocolates.

What really make the party are the people who attend. Though it was for children but I appreciate our friends and relative who came to bless my daughter.

Our friends

Saee’s friend, actually Nitin’s friend who came at the end of the party.

Our Family

And generous gift.

We distribute return gift to kids. It was storybook wrapped by Nitin.

Most importantly, Saee had wonderful time. Felt loved by her Baba, Aapi (Granny, she called her Aapi), Tushu Kaka, and rest of Kaka (Uncles).Party ended up at 11.00 p.m. but she wanted to open each gift and then played with her mini kitchen set until 1.00 a.m.

Love you my dolly.

Schooling - Education or Business

Hello there,

Recently I have joined the blogger’s group for 7 days challenge. This post is for you Darren- Discussion Starter.

This is especially for Indian Schooling System

Indian Education system is money oriented. Right from the birth of the child parents start to think about schooling. Many of the parents need to take loan from the bank even for the nursery admission. A parent wonders where the schooling system going and what output will get to child. My question for discussion is this money oriented school system worthy. Do we need to change it?

We also completed our education without investing such huge amount, do we failed. Everyone have his own career and successful life. Yes, I do believe it is we as a parents accepting this money oriented system from the Government that leads to many school act as bugsiness model. Schools are not more that provide education but yes are the one that earns only money. For example, Pre-k admission you need to invest approximately rupees 50,000 to 70,000/- is this needed….? What will the school provide to your child….

Air condition classroom
Smart Board
Good Canteen
Fancy shaped benches
Playground
Activity Area
Computer Lab
…….list will never end

And Education????

That you will not get from the school. Parents need to admit their kid at private tuitions for the education. Schools are providing only the syllabus but they failed to take care of , is child is able to understand what they taught in school, is every child is completing their class work or homework, is student is able to build up the self confidence….? Like these. Schools are not going to answer all this question, but considering the student as a earning source.

Not all schools are like these. There are few schools, which are very good, but parents are ignoring them. My kid is just 3 years old and we are about to start schooling next year. My mommy friends are discussing always on school matters. So I thought it will be the best topic for my post.

All mommies please suggest your opinion in the comment section below.

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy Friendship Day

Happy August,

My last post is in july, and the one is in August. Feeling sad due to disconnection with all of you. My laptop is not working and so many posts are ready but getting delay on publishing. Hope will try to maintain the consistency in publishing the new post with new topics.

Today is 7th August, first Sunday of August 2016, Friendship Day. I Love all this days like friendship day, mother’s day, Father’s Day, Valentine Day…..etc. These are the days where we actually live life with our dear one. We take out the precious time to enjoy with our family and friends.

I am the person who do not make a new friend very fast like my hubby, he have tonss of friends. I have a very few, but have a constant and firm bonding with them. Now due to blogging I am getting so many new friends, Thanks to all of you who read my blogs.

What a beautiful quotes of Socrates. I think I am falling in this category….hee heee….!!

Without wasting too much time let us start with the post. Anu this is for you dear…..!
On this special occasion, I would like to share with you a tiny tiny celebration of Pre-K kids. My Friend Anu, hosting a playgroup at his home and she is doing tremendous job. It is difficult to manage small toddlers below the age of 3. However, she has done masters in it, handles all these kiddos so patiently and lovingly. Besides playing, she also taught them a good manner, fostering a right attitude and developing their small brain. I believe whatever kids learn at an early age never forget throughout the life. Age of 2 to 5 is very important age for every child for developing the right attitude and basic manners. She had a friendship day celebration at her playgroup on Friday 4th August 2016. Let’s have a look at this.

She made this simple and beautiful friendship band for all this kiddos.

Wondering what’s gonna be there?

Wishing by hugging each other.

My Saee and her best friend Arnav.

Then she distributes chocolates to all of them.Sorry we do not have that photo.

This is the first occasion of her school and kids also new to all this. Therefore, you will not find any smiling faces of these kids. After completions of the party, they dance together.

Here is she…my best friend Anu

Be tuned for all celebrations of her playgroup.

Happy Friendship Day to all my readers.

Cheerss....!!!
