HEALTHY DINNER FOR WEEK : MARCH 2024

Image
How are you ? April is started already and how life is going? Steady or with full speed? Mine is going with full speed. Mini vacation are over and school has started. Again we are busy with school, study little bit and toddlers play time. Healthy dinners are the most important part of our Indian houses. We Indian families have everyday dinner together because it is the time where we meet each other and we talk with each other.  This was the scene of our childhood lives. Many of you agreed with it.  But,  In my house dinner time is where we strictly off the screens whether it is big or small screens and talk over the meal.  Dinner is the special time where we all have meals with discussion and laughter so we did it mindfully.  A healthy dinner has always been my goal. Earlier there was a house help when my baby was small but now we don't have any help. So the goal is to cook food at home and have a meal with the family, which is sometimes very difficult. But with meal planning I ma

Lockdown kids fun activity # 2

Hey all, As I promised to share new activity on alternate days, so here I  am with new exciting activity. I hope you all like our previous one with smilies and have a fun time with your little ones. those who do not know please check the link : http://memoryflies.blogspot.com/2020/04/kids-activity-during-quarantine.html I am giving one by one so that our child does not get bored. This one is pretty simple. Take out a paper, sketch pen and wax or crayon or whatever you have handy. This is a simple drawing. There is no rule that you have to draw this only. You can draw anything like a kite, Bunny, Elephant as per your kid's choice. Just ask the child to take the colour pencil or sketch pen. I will suggest having a sketch pen. Ask them to draw a pattern on each line with a different colour. After that ask them to fill the gaps with contrast colour. The final product is like this. Lovely? Some Do's: # Take the same pattern and sit with your child. #

Kids Activity During Quarantine

Hi, all, I hope you all are safe inside your home and doing well during this quarantine. Our kids are precious ones because they listen to us without complaining, right.  I am telling my daughter that Corona is sitting at the entrance of our lift and hence we can not go out. she simply considers this and never demands to go out, the poor girl as she trusts her mumma. But we don't have an option. I wonder we can do this to the elder one who is still not sitting inside the house and roaming here and there without a mask. 😖 Anyway, that is not the topic of my post. There are lots of games and activities which are flooded everywhere. Are you done with that? I am doing this activity when my child gets bored with everything and finally, she wanted to do something new. I introduce this one at a time so that she can not get bored. You know Mumma, today's generation kids get bored very quickly and they want new things fast. Without realizing what is it, they tend to get b

Carrot Cheese Sandwich

As a mommy blogger, I supposed to post some kid's recipe too. Yep, that is what I always wanted to share with my mommy friend and wanted to learn from them too. Trying the recipe which prepares quickly and the most important approved by my little one.😑   After all, we mom always wanted to feed them “Ghar Ka Khana” as much as possible but in a rare case that our every food is appreciated by them. We all know kids are always a picky eater. The name suggests a simple sandwich recipe, and yes it is pretty simple having only 2 major ingredients and that is carrot and cheese. My daughter loves carrot and so I added that.   You can add as many vegetables along with the carrot. I don’t have at that time so I prepared it from scratch. These are two spices and salt I use for flavor. Pizza masala gives a taste of pizza which makes a sandwich finished in a jiffy.   Grate Amul cheese and carrot, add the above spices and mix well. I used brown bread but you can use an
